We hope everyone is staying cool in this heat! We have had record highs and yesterday it reached 100. We took a trip up to Rocky Mountain National Forest on Saturday. We walked around Bear Lake and the surrounding area. The kids were great all day and we even saw some snow! It is so amazing that it is so warm yet there is still snow in the mountains. I am sure it will melt soon as we have had such warm days. We also walked around Estes Park for a while and had some home made ice cream.

On Sunday we swam in the pool and went to the mall so the kids could play in the playland. We tried to get Regan to pierce her ears but she was a little tired and wouldn't let anyone touch them. As soon as we got home she wanted to go back and get earrings!! Little stinker!

Ryan started his first official day today and he said it went well. He is in anesthesia this week and he did a few epidural steroid injections. Not the most interesting thing but at least he has good hours this week! The kids and I stayed home today because it was soo hot! We are going swimming this evening and then tomorrow it is suppose to cool off into the 80's so maybe we will take a trip to the zoo.

Quick story. Last week we buzzed Kael's hair and Regan wanted her hair cut. I told her that her hair was soo pretty long and girls don't have short hair. A couple hours later it was extremely quiet and I went to look for Regan. She was in the closet with SCISSORS!!!!!!!! Yes, she cut about five 4-inch chunks out of the front of her hair. I was sooooooo angry with her and Ryan said "why did you cut your hair?" and she replied; "it was too long". At least she was honest but it looks terrible. She has less than 1/2 in bangs and there are some short chunks right on the top. At least she didn't cut the sides but it is an interesting style! I will post pictures when we get some good ones.

Ok, enough for today. Kari

I thought I would add a couple more pictures of Kael enjoying our new home! He is quite a little helper!

June 19th, 2007

Hello to all of our family and friends. We have created this blog to keep everyone up to date and share new pictures. I am new with this whole blog thing so bear with me! It may take me a while to figure everything out.
We moved to Denver June 7th and we have slowly been unpacking. Ryan's parents brought the kids out on the 9th so we had a little time to organize without our little helpers. We are very fortunate to have some of Ryan's family out here and they have helped us out tremendously already. Thank you!!!
Ryan started at St. Joseph's on Monday and is awaiting that first "page" asking "Dr. what do we need to do with this pt?". The kids are adjusting well but Regan is a little sad she cannot go outside by herself anymore. Kael finally got his first tooth yesterday after a few cranky nights. We hope the first one will be the worst!

We are enjoying Denver and the view of the mountains. It is amazing to see snow on top of them when its 95 degrees out! We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on the 15th and we took a trip through the mountains and ate at a small village called Morrison which reminded us a lot of Deadwood. It was also very nice to enjoy dinner without the kids thanks to Cheryl and Stephanie.
We have been swimming almost everyday and took a trip to the zoo. We are still trying to locate a nice park with a playground. The ones we have seen look a little "shady", if you know what I mean.
Well, I better sign off for now.

Lots of Love-The Garrys
