GO ROCKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wrestling with Uncle Rich

We have been very busy since we last updated. First we attending Adam Bierbaum and Amy VanFossen's wedding in Omaha the 6th of October which was so much fun. We were able to see many college friends and their families.
Next we went to Sioux Falls to see the Garry side and then on to Paullina to see my parents. My Grandpa came with us so it was also very nice to see him again. We visited Pumpkinland and Regan and Kael had a great time (sorry, no pictures).
At the end of the week we took my grandpa back to SF and went to stay with my sister and her family for a couple of days. We were so happy to see everyone again even though it had only been a little over a month since we had seen them last.
We returned home last Saturday and my brother and his wife were already here. We took in a Rockies game which was awesome! We got tickets for Sunday night, yes the night it was raining. We had great seats only about seven rows from the top. They were great because there was an overhang which kept us dry the entire time! We weren't cold or wet so it can't get any better than that. We also got to cheer on the Rockies to a WIN. GO ROCKIES!! We really hope we can get some cheap series tickets too.
Last week we did some sight-seeing and tried to be good tour guides. We went up into the mountains and it was snowing a lot. We drove by Arapahoe Basin(a great place to ski) and it was packed. The line to get on the lifts was so long we couldn't believe it.
We are preparing for some snow tonight, I think 1-3 inches. Might be cold at the Broncos game tomorrow! It is suppose to warm back up by Tuesday so hopefully that snow will be gone. I am taking the kids to 'Boo at the Zoo' this week so I will update pictures later.
Hope to talk to everyone soon!

October 1, 2007

Sorry it has been so long since we updated. We are(I am) finally feeling like we are settled! It only took us four months, but we are unpacked and organized.

Ryan continues to be very busy at the hospital. We don't get to see him as much as we would like, but we try to go have supper with him at the hospital when he is on-call. He gets up about 4:30am and he gets home anywhere from 5-7:00 so he is very tired when he is home. He is currently sending out applications for Orthopaedic residencies. Hopefully this year he will be accepted but if not, he thinks he will pursue General Surgery. He really likes it here, so if he does do General, he would love to finish out his last four years here in Denver.

Regan is loving pre-school and so am I! She has been a completely different child. She attends on Tuesday and Thursday from 9-3:00, so Kael and I get to spend some good quality time together. She is pretty tired when she gets home so she is in bed very early those nights.

Kael finally has some more teeth! His top teeth popped through last week after Regan tackled him and his mouth slammed into the kitchen floor. He was bleeding from his nose and mouth pretty good. Regan felt terrible! Do you think she knows she needs to be more careful with him? He also decided he can walk, but only when he thinks no one is looking! He is a very brave little boy and loves to climb on everything.

I have been keeping busy with the kids. I am so ready to be back in a house again! I really miss having a yard and the extra room. I have been looking at houses here in hopes that we will be staying. A new park opened just a few blocks from us so that has also made my life a lot easier!

I have attached some new pictures. We hope everyone is doing well.

Love, The Garrys
