What can I say, my baby girl is 3 years old! It seems like yesterday that she was starting to walk and talk. We had a great day on Sunday. Ryan was on call Sat. night so he got home about 10:00 on Sunday. We celebrated Regan's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese which she absolutely loves! We brought cake and her presents from us. She was not really interested in the presents as much as "playing" all the games. She would put a token in a game and then hit a few buttons, look at it a little then walk to the next one. She never stayed at any one game for the whole alotted time. She did however figure out that if she waited long enough that tickets would come out of it and she could tear those off. Silly girl! I think Ryan had more fun than she did though and we came out with a lot of tickets!
The picture of Regan is from last Saturday after she received her gift in the mail from Grandpa and Grandma Garry. She got the princess dress, shoes, headbands, lipgloss, fingernail art and some barettes. She was so excited about the lip gloss! Some of you may not know but Regan has a thing for lipstick and shoes. She has put so much lipgloss on that she has a rash around her mouth and she has worn her new shoes so much that she has blisters from them!
Next week my parents will be visiting for the week and I'm sure we will make another trip to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate both Regan and Kael's birthdays. Kael will be one on August 14th.
Regan is going to ride back with my parents to see all of her cousins and other family members. Kael and I will probably make a trip back sometime in August to get her and to visit also.
Today we enrolled Regan in Preschool at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. She was so excited when she saw all the fun things that they will be doing. Right now I have her signed up for Tues and Thurs from 9:00 to 3:00 but if it's too long of a day I will drop her down to 9-11:30. They have a summer program that meets every Wed. so we got to see some other kids there and she ate a snack with them. She was being a little shy but after we left she didn't stop talking about her "school" and she wanted to go back and play with the kids again. I think she will adjust fine to the new experience.
Ryan is in his last week of anesthesia so now the reality of the 80 hr week is just beginning! He is currently working about 60 hrs a week but this will be the last of that luxury. He is on-call tonight and has the rest of the weekend off before he starts a new rotation next week. We are going to the Royal Gorge for the weekend and will be staying in Canon City. I am excited to see this as it will be my first time. Ryan has been there before many years ago so I hope he and the kids enjoy it as well. It is suppose to cool off tomorrow and Friday so we are planning on leaving tomorrow afternoon so we can spend Friday at the Gorge.
Enough for today. We hope everyone is staying cool as I know it has been a scorcher t/o the whole US. We love and miss all of you!

Hi everyone! Not a whole lot new here except it is cooler this week. We plan on going up to Estes Park again this weekend to camp. We are trying to get into the Yogi bear campground which Regan would love. Otherwise maybe we will try elsewhere.

Kael finally got his second bottom tooth. He has still been crabby at night but not nearly as bad as he was. I moved rooms around yesterday so he is sleeping in our room. Hopefully that will help with the long nights! He is becoming extremely mobile and it will be not be long and he will be walking! That is scary! He say and waves "Hi" and we have heard a few DaDa's but otherwise he is just noisy.

Regan has been a little better but boy is she strong-willed! She has to do everything herself even if it takes an hour! She keeps busy playing with her babies and reading books. She sits on the floor and pages through books making up her own stories. She also has been keeping busy with foam stickers which she puts everywhere!

Ryan continues to work hard at the hospital and is enjoying St. Joe's. They have great food and the Dr. he is with takes him to lunch almost everyday. Tough job! He eats a lot better there than he does at home.

I have not been up to much except taking care of the kids and trying to keep up with cleaning and laundry which seems to be never-ending. I am getting to know the Denver metro area pretty well and we really like it here. We are hoping to get in a Rockies game yet this summer and hopefully a Broncos game in the fall. No, I am not going to become a Broncos fan. Ok, enough for today. We hope everyone is happy and healthy. The dark picture in the middle was not suppose to be in there but I don't know how to get it off. It is actually a picture that Regan took looking out one of our windows.

Go Bears!

Just wanted to say sorry for the gap in the pictures. There was suppose to be a few more in there but for some reason it didn't work. I will post more later.

Here is the haircut!

Here are a few new pics! Don't you just love Regan's new BANGS!!!!!! If I would have known she would cut her hair I would have never fought with the barrettes and ponies while it was growing. Oh well, I guess it will grow again.
Regan is also sooo nice to her brother. Notice the last picture she is actually kicking him in the face. He puts up with a lot and she better watch out because in a year or so he will be beating HER up!
We have been staying busy and trying to stay cool. We have definitely made use of our pool and I am so glad that we have it. It has been in the middle to upper 90's and doesn't sound as though it will cool off anytime soon.
Ryan's mom and aunt Connie are coming tomorrow to stay over the fourth so we are excited to see them. Regan keeps asking to go to people's houses and she doesn't understand why we can't drive to see everyone. She keeps saying "Lets take the Tahoe to see my friends, I will be a good girl".

We would love to hear from everyone so keep in touch. I will post more pictures when I have them uploaded,I am getting better at it! We wish everyone a wonderful and safe Fourth of July.

Love, The Garrys
